What happens to your data?

Pika collects your account details, uploaded media, prompts, and generated outputs to operate the platform and train its AI models. Your information is shared with service providers, third-party AI/LLM vendors, and advertising partners for service delivery and marketing. Data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill operational and legal purposes.

Does it train on your data?

Pika uses user-submitted content—including text prompts, images, video inputs, voice samples, likeness data, and generated outputs, along with associated metadata—to create, train, evaluate, moderate, and optimize its artificial intelligence models and personalized AI Selves, where permitted by applicable law or with user consent.

Can you opt out?

Users can opt out of promotional emails and targeted advertising through account profile settings or by emailing support@pika.art. However, there is no direct self-service setting in the policy to opt out of general AI model training; users must rely on regional statutory rights where applicable or cease using the service.

Data retention

Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including legal, accounting, and reporting obligations. De-identified or anonymized data may be kept indefinitely for business purposes. Biometric information, such as voice recordings or facial scans, is retained only as long as needed or up to three years after account deletion, whichever occurs first.
